I used to think that Greek salad must be really difficult to make.  You know, on account of its deliciousness.  Then I saw my mother-in-law make it and discovered that the dressing is actually really simple.  Who knew that it was just a balsamic vinaigrette that made for such a great salad?  Actually I imagine everyone knew that, but for some reason it took me awhile! Well, unlike my last recipe, which was decidedly un-springlike, these lemon raspberry scones scream springtime to me.  The lemon flavour is just so fresh tasting.  I'm not a huge lemon fan, but I always feel like it in the springtime. So, this is entirely the wrong time of year to be posting a recipe involving pumpkin, but this pumpkin spice granola is so good, that I just couldn't wait until the fall. I have never made doughnuts before.  Never.  Baked, fried, nothing.  I decided it was high time that that changed. I bought a doughnut pan eons ago as I kept seeing these beautiful doughnuts everywhere and really wanted to try making some, but I also wanted to keep them healthy enough that I could feel good about giving them to the kids.  Or, you know, eating a few myself if the mood struck.
